Christmas, for some is their favorite time of year. You can find decorations in houses and stores, best of all Christmas decorations can be placed in your scrapbook.

Here is a project that is quick and fun. Project package is available.

Paper supplies: one sheet of, light purple, green, green swirl, white, stripe 12 x 12 cardstock. Two 12 x 12 sheets of Christmas ornament paper. Thirteen brads of various colors, and gold thread.

Other supplies: 1/16th inch hole punch, (mini), or an awl. Scissors, acid free glue, and foam tape. Red and green markers, a fine point black pen, and a red and gold ink pad. 1/8th inch Eyelet punch, and setter.

Start with the 12 x 12 sheet of light purple; this will be the base sheet to work off of.

1.Cut out white cardstock 8 ½ x 2 ¾ inches. Write out the word Christmas using red marker, (make sure to center the word), leave spaces in each letter for the holly leaves and berries. Use fine point black marker to draw the holly leaves and berries, then color them in, when finished run gold ink pad over top of work. This will add dimension to your title. Set asside when finished.

2.Cut out 10 ½ x 3 ¼ inches green cardstock. Measure 2 ½ inches in from the right side of green cardstock, in this space, trace the Christmas tree using the eyelet stencil/Temp-let #2.Color in tree with green markers, punch holes with eyelet punch, place eyelets in holes and set with eyelet setter. Brush red ink pad around sides of cardstock, this will add dimension. Glue title to green cardstock. Start 1/4 inch from left side and leave ½ inch from top and bottom.Set asside.

3.Cut two strips of striped cardstock 1x4 inches. Place one on the upper left corner; place the other on the upper right corner. One strip of green swirl cardstock at the bottom of the striped cardstock, make sure the green swirl cardstock is on top of the striped cardstock. Cut another 1x4 inch strip of green swirl cardstock, place this in the center of the strip just glued down. This will form a T.

.

4.Place the title along the center top edge of page. This will leave some of the stripes and the swirls showing

.

5.At this point there will be a 1/8 inch border under the title, the green swirl will show.

6.Cut out a 6 x 3 3/8 inch rectangle from the green cardstock and a 6 x 2½ inch rectangle from the striped cardstock. Glue these together starting at the bottom on the green with the striped cardstock. There will be an upper border of the green less than one inch. Glue this to the page starting 1/8th inch from the bottom of the title and at the left edge.

7.Cut another green square of cardstock 6 ¼ x 5 ¼ inch, and a square of the green swirl cardstock 5 ¾ x 4 ¾ inch. Glue these together starting at the bottom right corner. Glue this to the page starting under the piece just placed. Now the left side of the page is finished.

.

8.Cut a rectangle of green cardstock 8 5/8 x 5 ¾ inch, one strip of green swirl cardstock 1x 8 5/8 inch, and one square of striped cardstock 7 ¼ x 5 ½ inch. Glue swirl strip to right side of green cardstock. Place the striped cardstock on top of green cardstock. (DO NOT GLUE DOWN YET), there will be a border of green at the top and swirl on the right side. Now with the stripe just placed down take the right upper corner and bend toward the bottom left corner, this will create a 3d effect. When you have it at the desired bend mark with a pencil, make sure you leave enough space for the small eyelet. Remove and punch out hole for eyelet and set eyelet. When finished glue to green and swirl rectangle start at bottom left corner. Then Glue to the page start at the right edge of page and 1/8th inch from the bottom of title. This will leave a Y shaped border around the title.

9.Cut out four ornaments of your choice. Then cut out four more of the same ornament, with these ornaments make sure to carefully cut out the hanging circle, this is where a hole will be punched and the gold thread placed. Take the threaded ornament turn over and place foam tape on white side of ornament. Peal off backing of foam tape and turn over, place this ornament on top of the matching ornament. (The foam tape will be on top of the printed ornament). After all four ornaments are made glue these to the rectangle on left side of page under title.

10.After finished turn over page, if there is any excess cardstock showing around edges cut this away, so you will be left with a light purple backing. And now you have a finished page!!!
